Gull

when you own a dog

or any animal when you live

with them

and really observe them

it changes you

it changes the way you look at nature

the gull is no longer a gull

but a white bird

that sees itself in the water as

it flies a bird

that flocks among others

that finds a

passion in its own kind

an overriding passion

the reason for

its life

that is what you see when

you live with animals

and when we go to heaven

if there is a heaven

there will be gulls and birds and bison

they will be there
