Healing Insights Therapy Center opened its Woodbury location in November 2003. Owner Katie Murphy says the center was created to provide "an inspired, comfortable, pleasant, professional environment for therapists and clients to learn, practice and receive a variety of holistic therapies."

Healing Insights offers colonics (colon hydrotherapy), Cranial Sacral therapy, therapeutic massage, hot stone massage, Myofacial Release, Reflexology, Zen Shiatsu, ear candling, Reiki and many other therapies to support a balanced body, mind and spirit. The center now offers free consultations, free use of Chi Machine, far-infrared ray "hothouse" and the electro reflex energizer. It offers a wide variety of products – including books, CDs, DVDs, herbs and tinctures for detoxing the body, nutritional supplements, teas and juices for intestinal support, and more – and soon will be presenting public workshops on emotions, Cranial Sacral techniques for home use, Cranial Sacral for professionals, and understanding and choosing your beliefs.
"Most people remark how immediately comfortable they feel upon entering our space and how easy it is to talk with our staff members," Murphy says. "Quiet contemplation, interesting educational conversations, sharing personal experiences, laughing and smiling are all healing tonics here."
A new healing art offered by Healing Insights, Clarity Integration, is a unique form of an ancient healing art, Murphy says. "Spirit, mind, body spontaneously unite to move and integrate transitions and clarity into the present. Realizations experienced are: enhanced energy flow and redirection; clarity in conscious knowledge that provide an opportunity for new direction and choices in life; and physically, the release of dysfunction and pain. At this time Healing Insights, provides private sessions for Clarity Integration and our future plans include teaching this practice."
One of the Twin Cities healing centers that offers colonics to help detox the body, Healing Insights finds that nearly half of all colonic clients have never experienced any other holistic therapy. They consider colonics to be very mainstream and surprised they are not offered in medical clinics.
