D.A. (Daisy) Hickman is a spiritual thinker, a dedicated student of society and culture, and a writer who loves to tap into the complexities of the human condition. She earned her MS in sociology at ISU, her BA from Stephens College, and spent many years working closely with nonprofit organizations. Hickman's first book was about the wisdom of prairie and people; she frequently publishes poetry in a variety of journals and is at work on a new book of essays.
