MINNEAPOLIS – Minnesota artists of sacred myth find sanctuary for their original works at Eye of Horus Mythic Art Gallery when it presents the autumn Sacred Harvest Art Show, running from August 1 to October 29.

A reception to meet the selected artists and discover the myths and legends that inspire them will take place from 6-8 p.m. Sunday Aug. 5, in the gallery and labyrinth garden. Kari Tauring, a Nordic roots author, educator and performance artist, will present vignettes of entertainment for all ages, including the "Stories from the World Tree" puppet show and a concert of her original music.

With the Sacred Harvest show, Eye of Horus Mythic Art Gallery seeks to portray how the artist relates to the changing season through the lenses of sacred myths and stories.

Artists interested in participating may submit their work for consideration through June 15 by downloading the application at www.eyeofhorus.biz/gallery/.

Eye of Horus is the metaphysical store, labyrinth garden and mythic art gallery located in the Uptown area of Minneapolis and online at www.eyeofhorus.biz, specializing in books, ritual tools, candles, incense, jewelry, art and music for people walking a mystic or pagan path.
