December begins under a cheerful, restless, Sagittarius Sun and Mercury, with Venus in introspective Scorpio and Mars in tempestuous Aries. While a new enthusiasm brightens the future, our hearts can still perseverate over old resentments or new obsessions, and that emotional torque needs to be directed carefully.
