This is either the beginning of the end…or the dawning of the greatest era…for humankind. We either sit on the sideline and watch the fight to determine which corporation will rule the planet…or we begin to live as one.
I write this at 1:54 a.m. on Saturday, August 23. I awoke with stomach pains and these ideas flooding my mind. I turned on my computer to preserve these thoughts to share with you. My physical pain proved temporary; my concern for humanity remains deeply felt.
In my recent 50-minute interview with a man viewed by some as agent of the "anti-Christ" [funny how Benjamin Creme shares this distinction with Barack Obama], the editor of Share International magazine left some indelible prints on my soul. While he spoke to me like countless others have in the past decade, using sentences to express ideas that he hoped would awaken readers who take the time to listen to his words, there was one unmistakable difference in this conversation: if what he says is true, it signals that we are indeed living in the most incredible time in the history of humanity.
His claim, and you can read it in more detail at www.shareinternational.org, is that Maitreya, the master of all the spiritual masters [including Jesus and Buddha] has donned a human body and is preparing to step in to help us save ourselves. And not only does this coincide with prophecy, among all of the major religions, but the timing of it is expected soon – not only in our lifetime, but perhaps before our next elected president finishes his first term of office.
Several aspects of Maitreya’s messages ring true to me:
- He
is not coming to rule the planet, but to teach and inspire, allowing us the
free will to either ignore his suggestions [and most likely destroy the planet
in the process] or summon up the goodness that is an inherently human quality
and find a way to cooperate, rather than compete, in the task of rearranging
our human ways of being so they are much more sustainable. - One of his top priorities is to inspire a sharing of the world’s resources
that stops the growing divide between the haves and the have-nots. Too many
people are starving in a world that produces a surplus of food. Maitreya
reportedly has said, "Without sharing there can be no justice; without justice there can be no peace; without peace, there can be no future." The
world’s 225 richest people reportedly have a combined wealth of more than
$1 trillion, equal to the annual income of the poorest 47 percent of the
world’s population. - He is against all war. Gandhi said, "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." He also said, "What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty or democracy?" Enough
said. - He says the environment will become the number one issue, for many reasons.
He says nuclear reactors are creating an unmeasurable toxin that is causing
Alzheimer’s disease and many other untold problems. He also notes that negative
forces generated by humanity are directly connected with what we are seeing
happen in nature. Cause and effect.
In my personal opinion, conditions seem perfect for humankind’s receptivity to Maitreya’s supportive suggestions. Just as a severe health crisis often triggers an unexpected shifting of priorities in someone who steadfastly opposed change in the past, current world conditions [economically, environmentally, militarily] suggest that the time is now for humankind to experience an incredible change in perception. Crisis, if flipped in perspective, can be viewed as an opportunity.
While on one hand we could view the current conditions as dire, with panic in our voice and a immediate need to react, we also could breathe, see the situation as an opportunity to reassess our priorities in life and move forward with each step toward a new path reflecting our changed awareness of our surroundings. It is not too late. Let us all commit to acting in accordance with our soul’s desire. Let us see one another as brother’s and sisters. And let us hold hands and begin anew, creating our now moment with shared love.
