New Pisces Moon 2024

Exact time of full moon: Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 4am Central

Pisces is not the end. We’ve all been duped into the illusion that Pisces is the last season. Look outside. Does it feel like the last season? Maybe the last part of winter, but in the great cycle of the wheel of the year, I feel more like I’m at the beginning. I feel like the Sun has been strengthening for quite some time. Light is culminating. Only the night is receding.

Moreover, when I look outside, my philosophical brain considers the apparent death and rebirth of the Sun at Winter Solstice to be the end and beginning of the year. I make New Year’s resolutions in Capricorn season. Now, in Pisces season, I’m letting go, all right. I’m letting go of the frozen ground. I’m letting go of my internal processing of my intentions for my year, as I prepare to take action on those Capricornian intentions in the upcoming Aries season.

So, as a farmer, there’s no way that Pisces season is the last season. I’ve been in a state of preparation for a couple months now, and I am just getting going. Last year ended…last year. Therefore, considering Capricorn as the beginning, we are in that state of rapid development right before the germinated seed pops out of the soil. We are in that place, where we are filling ourselves full – with our imagination, our dreams, and our visions of what we will become once we emerge into the light.

With this New Pisces Moon, remember that we’ve already made the choice. We already have our intention of our best of all possible worlds. Now, imagine what it may look like to manifest that. Our new year began in the darkness of Capricorn, and now it is our prerogative to imagine what it looks like to bring all that we are on the inside, out into the world of the manifest and the observable.

This requires a necessary gratitude for the moisture and the nutrients we have been finding in our soil. It is here where we give thanks for the Great Mother Earth, the sustainer of all Life, for holding us in her belly as we have grown and developed into our own unique being. But we must let go of the Mother and step into our own individual power. There is an understandable sadness in that. In response, it calls on our need for gratitude, acceptance, and honoring Life as Sacred right now, wherever we are.

Let’s fill our being with enthusiasm for being as we imagine our best of all possible worlds because soon, very soon, we will all need to act on that vision and bring our individual, unique Light to the world. Imagine well, this world needs all of the Light it can get.
