Dolores Cannon (1931-2014) was a hypnotherapist, researcher, and prolific author of 19 books exploring hypnosis, past lives, UFOs, and extraterrestrial life. Her books have been translated into over 20 languages, and she was widely regarded as a pioneer in the field of past life regression.

Cannon’s groundbreaking work in past life regression led to the development of the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT), which has since helped numerous people worldwide. Despite her passing in 2014, her legacy as a visionary thinker and healer continues to inspire many in the fields of hypnotherapy, spiritual healing, and consciousness exploration.

Early Years

Born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1931, Dolores spent 20 years traveling the world with her husband Johnny, a U.S. Naval man. After her husband’s motorcycle accident, the couple settled in Arkansas, where Dolores began to practice hypnosis with clients in the late 1970s.

Her early work focused on reincarnation, and many of her clients described past lives in various locations and periods. Dolores meticulously verified the authenticity of these results. Eventually, she realized that the memories of past lives and additional information were supplied by a more powerful and knowledgeable portion of her clients’ selves.

Dolores developed the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT), which involves establishing direct contact and communication with an individual’s subconscious to obtain answers to questions and facilitate instant healing.

Later Explorations

In the mid to late 1980s, Dolores’ work took a new direction of exploration when she became interested in UFO and ET investigation. Her book The Custodians (1998) signified a groundbreaking publication after more than 20 years of regressing clients with ET and UFO experiences. She also published The Convoluted Universe series, which contains diverse information.

In The Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth (2011), Dolores describes the call for volunteers to help the Earth after the atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. The first wave of volunteers was made up of the “way showers,” the second wave act as antennas of energy, and the third wave of volunteers possess the knowledge and wisdom to help humanity overcome obstacles and complete the transition.

Dolores’ work has inspired many people and will continue to do so. Her legacy lives on through her books and the countless lives she has touched.
