Happy October!

Given my life and scheduling, having just come back from NW Tarot Symposium and currently writing to y’all from the gorgeous forests surrounding Mt. Shasta, October’s video tarot forecast will be coming out next week.

If you would like to know more about my experiences at NWTS, recommendations and the like, join my Patreon.

In the interim, Card of the Week!

This week I’m using one of my new decks, a gift from Theresa Pridemore – another, hello!!! I’m sooooo glad you’re here and to reconnect!!! – moment.

You all know her work from Sovereign Oracle, which has graced Card of the Week many times over the years, and as my web goddess creating Group Tarot.

One of her new decks, from which today’s card will be drawn is, The Dis-Rupture Deck. A Self-Mastery Oracle for Powerful Awareness & Self-Witnessing.

Given it’s title, I’m giving us the intention/question,

What patterns/habits/thoughts/behaviors do we need to disrupt to have a b.e.s.t. week? b.e.s.t. = beautiful. ethical/equitable. sustainable. timely.

We are given,

Head in the clouds and not on the Earth.
GET GROUNDED.

get grounded tarot card reading

Well then! I feel a little called out! Although given that I’ll be sleeping quite literally on the ground this week, I have one very literal way to do this!

What are some of the ways you get grounded when you notice your head in the clouds, spacing out, disassociating?

I bring awareness back to my breath, tapping and massaging my body, lying on the ground in shavasana, eating yummy food after giving thanks, walking barefoot, dancing, enjoying physical intimacy, wrapping up in something soft.

This may also be an invitation to disrupt procrastination! What’s the next step for your passion project? Organizing that drawer, writing your memoir, starting to gather tax items early to make next year easier?

What comes up for you?

May you be in your body and connected to this good Earth, our only home, well this week.

And…

If you would like to dive deeper with a personal reading, may I suggest booking on October 8th!

Why?

Because I am participating in Cheers For Queers, a fundraising event supporting Fuse Theatre Ensemble. 15 years as a fringe, queer, theatre company is a huge accomplishment and I’m so delighted to participate.

All the b.e.s.t,
